The story ends with the birth of Saras and Kumud's first child, a daughter whom they name Sanskriti Saraswatichandra Vyas. With the help of Kumud, she regains her memory and mental health, and reunites with her family.

Kumud succeeds in finding Saras' long-lost mother who never died, but lost her memory and was imprisoned in a mental asylum. He also discovers love with a bubbly girl from Mumbai named Anushka. Gumaan is finally arrested and Kabir happily starts adjusting to his family and reconciles with his father, as does Saras. Further on, it is revealed that Saras' younger brother, Kabir, who was thought to have died in infancy, is alive and has been working for Gumaan to destroy the Desai/Vyas family.
